International Showdown Tournament in Zurich
The Swiss Showdown Association will host the third international showdown tournament in Switzerland from November 13th to 17th, 2024. We look forward to welcoming again athletes from many different countries to the Limmat city.
Tournament
You play on five Czech tables during three days. All game rooms are located directly in the hotel where you stay.
Hotel
All participants stay in the 3-star hotel ibis Styles Zurich City Center. The hotel is located 15 minutes from Zurich Airport and 5 minutes from Zurich Main Station.

What is Showdown?
Showdown is a 1:1 game for the blind, visually impaired and sighted. The aim of the game is to use a bat to hit the jingling ball into the opposite goal. At the same time, you have to defend your own goal. The goals are formed by two indentations at the ends of the table. A player wins a set when he reaches 11 points first and has at least two points more than his opponent. A match is usually played best of three, but this may vary for final round matches.
